Finally finished reading the third book (City of Glass) of ‘The Mortal Instruments’ by Cassandra Clare, and it was an excellent ending to the trilogy. As usual (and only in books and the movies), everyone except the villain has a happy ending, and the heroes of the story (Jocelyn, Luke, Clary, Jace, Alec, and many more) live happily ever after.
It was interesting to see the comment by Stephenie Meyer on the front cover, praising the trilogy, considering that her Twilight series it the next one on my list of books to read…
Just finished reading ‘City of Ashes’, book 2 of ‘The Mortal Instruments’ by Cassandra Clare, and it was just as good as the first book. So good, in fact, that even though I went to an all day workshop in Maryborough today, I spent all evening reading the book from cover to cover. Now I have to start reading the third and final book, which I’ve been waiting to read for the last week. Plus go to the science conference on Saturday. Plus work on two assignments due on Friday. Plus go to uni on Monday to Thursday. Plus teach on Friday. So yeah, not doing much at the moment! 🙂
Finished reading ‘City of Gold’ yesterday, which is book 1 of the The Mortal Instruments, by Cassandra Clare. I borrowed the first and third books from the library, and am still waiting for the second book, which is annoying, as I now have to wait for it to come in before continuing on with the series
